This Whipped Goat Cheese and Fig Jam Dip with Pistachios and Hot Honey is a modified viral recipe that everyone will love. Start with whipping up goat cheese with cream and hot honey to make it smooth and creamy. Then layer that whipped goat cheese in a serving dish with fig jam, chopped pistachios, and a drizzle of hot honey. This recipe hits every flavor profile – sweet, salty, crunchy, and creamy. Served with some crackers or chips, it makes the perfect appetizer for almost any get-together. I served it last week and we pretty much scarfed it down! (Goat cheese is one of my favorite ingredients – unique and creamy, but not pungent or strong – see my other recipes with goat cheese here.)

Not sure if you’ve seen this viral recipe for goat cheese topped with fig jam, pistachios, and hot honey? But when I saw it I really had to try it for myself. I liked it, but my main complaint was the goat cheese – it was hard and not easy to spread, broke the crackers, and a little too tangy. I decided to modify this viral recipe by first whipping the goat cheese in my stand mixer for a couple minutes with some heavy cream and a little hot honey. It created the perfect whipped and smooth base for this dip – with a much better texture and flavor. I know you’ll love this Whipped Goat Cheese and Fig Jam Dip with Pistachios and Hot Honey as much as I do!

If you need an easy dip or appetizer for a gathering – this is it! It’s so quick to throw together and you don’t need to cook anything. Make the whipped goat cheese earlier in the day, and then it will be simple to throw this together in under 5 minutes. (You know I love an easy and delicious appetizer! See my other apps here.)
