Cranberry Pomegranate Cream Cheese Dip
This Cranberry Pomegranate Cream Cheese Dip is bright, sweet and tangy. It’s the perfect appetizer for the Holidays!
As I’ve posted about all my favorite Thanksgiving recipes, I forgot to mention probably one of my all-time favorite foods – this This Cranberry Pomegranate Dip. It’s fresh, sweet, and bright cranberries and pomegranate with a smooth cream cheese below. It’s perfect on crackers or chips. Every year I’ve made this it’s always a hit. It’s honestly one of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving day!
This dip is so insanely good! Seriously I could eat nothing but this for lunch. It’s a must-have for the holidays or any fall and winter gatherings.
There is jalapeno in this, but trust me when I say it’s not spicy at all. Just be sure to remove the seeds. You honestly can’t taste them, it just gives the dip some variance of flavor. Even my kids eat this. There really isn’t any spice.
Cranberry Pomegranate Cream Cheese Dip
Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh cranberries (one 12 oz. bag)
- 1/2 pomegranate (arils removed)
- 3 green onions, rough chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
- 1 jalapeno, seeded removed, rough chopped
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 8 oz. packages of cream cheese, softened
- crackers or chips for serving (we like Wheat Thins)
Instructions
- Place cranberries in a food processor. Pulse until rough chopped.
- Add in green onions, jalapeno, cilantro, cumin, lemon juice, sugar, and salt. Pulse until all ingredients are chopped finely into a relish-like consistency.
- Remove from food processor and with a spoon, mix in pomegranates. Place mixture into fridge for 4 hours, up to overnight, for the flavors to come together.
- To serve, spread softened cream cheese into a pie dish or platter with edges. Pour cranberry mixture over the softened cream cheese. Serve with crackers or chips.

This may be a stu[d questions, but are the cranberries cooked, or do you pulse them raw?
Hope to get an answer quick. Sounds good, but raw cranberries don’t sound too good!!
Pulse them raw!!
I’m assuming I can use Pom arils for this recipe – maybe 1/2 cup of arils??
Yep for sure! Yes, 1/2 cup – 3/4 cup!
