Salted Caramel Cheesecake Toffee Dip – cheesecake filling, homemade salted caramel, & sweet crunchy toffee bits – the perfect dip for fall! A great dip for crisp apples, pretzels, graham crackers, berries, and more. It’s sweet, creamy, a little salty, and has all the flavors of a delicious caramel cheesecake in an easy-to-serve dip.

This Salted Caramel Cheesecake Toffee Dip is the easiest little fall treat, and it’s always a crowd pleaser! The best part? It’s incredibly simple to make. I use store-bought, premade cheesecake filling as the base, make up a quick homemade salted caramel (which comes together in about five minutes), and finish it with store-bought toffee bits. No baking, no complicated steps, and hardly any prep work. Just mix everything together and you’re ready to serve!

I made this for book club the other week, and we all loved it. It’s one of those recipes that feels a little special but requires very little effort, which is always a win in my book. It’s perfect for an afternoon snack with your family, a fall get-together, or an easy appetizer to put out while everyone is waiting for Thanksgiving dinner.

It’s also a great way to get everyone to eat more apples. I especially love serving this with Granny Smith apples. Their tart, crisp flavor is the perfect contrast to the sweet, creamy cheesecake filling, buttery salted caramel, and crunchy toffee bits. That combination is SO good.

Why You’ll Love This Salted Caramel Cheesecake Dip

  • So easy to make: Using premade cheesecake filling means you can skip making a cheesecake from scratch. A quick homemade caramel and a handful of toffee bits are all you need!
  • Homemade salted caramel: The caramel comes together in just five minutes and adds the perfect buttery, salty-sweet flavor. (And if you’re short on time, you can use a store-bought salted caramel – Trader Joe’s has a great one!)
  • Perfect for fall entertaining: This is a fun addition to a fall snack board, book club spread, holiday appetizer table, or Thanksgiving gathering.
  • So many ways to serve it: Apples, pretzels, graham crackers, berries, and even buttery crackers are delicious dipped into this creamy cheesecake dip.
  • A crowd pleaser: It’s familiar, delicious, and just a little different from the usual party dips.

What to Serve with Cheesecake Toffee Dip

There are so many delicious things you can serve alongside this dip! Here are a few of my favorites:

  • Granny Smith apples: My favorite! The tartness balances the sweet caramel and cheesecake perfectly.
  • Honeycrisp apples: A little sweeter but still crisp and delicious.
  • Pretzels: The salty crunch is such a good pairing with the sweet dip.
  • Graham crackers: Almost like eating a bite of cheesecake with a graham cracker crust!
  • Fresh berries: Strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries are all great options.
  • Butter crackers: A slightly salty, buttery cracker makes a surprisingly delicious pairing.

Prep Time 15 minutes
Cooling Time 25 minutes
Total Time 40 minutes
Serving Size 12

Ingredients

Homemade Salted Caramel (can also buy a jar of premade storebought caramel)

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Additional Dip Ingredients

  • 1 container (12 oz.) premade no-bake cheesecake filling (I used the Philadelphia brand)
  • 1/2 bag (8 oz.) chocolate covered toffee bits (you will only need half the bag) (I used Heath brand)

For Serving

  • chopped apples
  • pretzels
  • graham crackers
  • other fruits or berries

Instructions

Homemade Salted Caramel

  • Heat granulated sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly with a high heat resistant rubber spatula or wooden spoon.
  • Sugar will form clumps and eventually melt into a thick brown, amber-colored liquid as you continue to stir. Be careful not to burn.
  • Once sugar is completely melted, immediately add the butter. Be careful in this step because the caramel will bubble rapidly when the butter is added. Stir the butter into the caramel until it is completely melted, about 2 minutes.
  • Very slowly, drizzle in the heavy cream while stirring. Since the heavy cream is colder than the caramel, the mixture will rapidly bubble and/or splatter when added.
Allow the mixture to boil for 1 minute. It will rise in the pan as it boils. Remove from heat. Allow to cool down before using (about 20-25 minutes).
(Can store extra caramel in the fridge in an airtight container.)

Making the Dip

  • In a serving dish, add the entire container of premade cheesecake filling. Spread and smooth it out.
  • On top of the cheesecake, drizzle the cooled caramel. Add as much (or as little as you’d like).
  • Sprinkle the toffee bits on top. Serve with apples and / or graham crackers or pretzels or crackers or other fruit. Enjoy!
