Mango Smoothie Bowl

My favorite part about this Mango Smoothie Bowl? The only ingredients are mango, banana, pineapple and coconut milk. No sweeteners, no dairy – just fruit and coconut! Top with almonds, dragon fruit, coconut, or anything of your choice.

I also love this Mango Smoothie Bowl because it’s thick. My secret to getting a thick smoothie? Almost like ice cream and fluffy without breaking my blender? I use my food processor instead! It has a much easier time pureeing these ingredients and keeping it thick. For a smoothie bowl it works much better when it’s thick. You should try it in your food processor too!

Ingredients

  • 1 banana frozen
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • toppings as needed (almonds, mango, dragon fruit, bananas, coconut)

Instructions

  • First puree coconut milk and mango in food processor (or blender).
  • Once smooth add pineapple and banana. If you're using a blender and worried it will be too thick, try grating your banana.

Isn’t dragon fruit beautiful?! I’m trying to think up a recipe where I can use the inside of the pink skin as a natural food coloring.
