Afternoon Snack Boards
Life during social distancing has been different. Having the kids at home all day, homeschool, boredom mixed with lots of chores, playing outside, crafts, and SNACKS. There have been so many more opportunities to snack! For myself and the kids. When my kids and I hit that afternoon lull, we need a snack, but I want real food snacks for them. One way I love to help cure their afternoon crankiness and hunger is with a fun and healthy snackboard. I love to include fresh fruit, a little chocolate, and Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP® Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn. They especially love when we build the board in rainbow colors!
To make your own Afternoon Snack Board, head to Whole Foods and grab some of your favorite fruit, chocolate, and some Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP.
Have you tried Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn before? We love to grab it at Whole Foods. It’s our favorite popcorn! We love it because not only does it taste delicious but it has real, simple ingredients, with nothing fake. It’s also non-GMO and made with whole grain. Not to mention the taste! So stinking good.
To build this easy Afternoon Snack Board, all you need to do is get some of your favorite fruit (we used raspberries, small oranges, grapes, and blueberries), as well as some chocolate and some Angies BOOMCHICKAPOP Sweet & Salt Kettle Corn (the Light Kettle Corn is also delicious!). Whole Foods has a huge variety of Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP.
Layer the fruit with the popcorn and chocolate on a large board or baking sheet. It’s one of my favorite ways to get my kids to snack healthily – if it looks nice and is left out on the counter, they’ll definitely go for it.
Fact: kids are more likely to eat something if it’s in rainbow form ; )
I hope you love these Afternoon Snack Boards as much as we do. Tag me @plumstreetcollective if you make these … Happy social distancing!
