Cranberry Pomegranate Cream Cheese Dip

This Cranberry Pomegranate Cream Cheese Dip is bright, sweet and tangy. It's the perfect appetizer for the Holidays!

Adapted from Mel's Kitchen Cafe recipe.

  • 3 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 pomegranate (arils removed)
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded removed, rough chopped
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 8 oz. packages of cream cheese, softened
  • crackers or chips for serving (we like Wheat Thins)

  1. Place cranberries in a food processor. Pulse until rough chopped.

  2. Add in green onions, jalapeno, cilantro, cumin, lemon juice, sugar, and salt. Pulse until all ingredients are chopped finely into a relish-like consistency.

  3. Remove from food processor and with a spoon, mix in pomegranates. Place mixture into fridge for 4 hours, up to overnight, for the flavors to come together.

  4. To serve, spread softened cream cheese into a pie dish or platter with edges. Pour cranberry mixture over the softened cream cheese. Serve with crackers or chips.
