Want to know my tip to get the top of banana bread sugary and soft?🍌⁣

Let the bread cool in pan for about 15 minutes, then turn out into aluminum foil and lightly wrap with foil. Let sit for 3 hours, up to overnight. The steam from the bread will release into the foil, and soften it. This creates a moist, sticky + sugary top to the bread. #yum⁣

Want a real good dessert that looks more complicated than it is? ⁣

This Cinnamon Streusel Coffee Cake is:⁣
• a simple cinnamon cake⁣
• filled with cinnamon streusel ⁣
• topped with cinnamon streusel⁣
• drizzled with vanilla glaze⁣
• bakes up tall in a 9x13 pan⁣
• only uses simple ingredients you probably have on hand 🙌🏻 (flour, butter, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, salt)⁣

It’s not complicated. Just make the cake batter then put half in a pan, top with streusel, add more cake batter, and top again with streusel. Then bake. The top gets all crumbly and crispy. It’s delicious. Such good cinnamon flavor.⁣

🥫Here’s what makes this the Best Spaghetti and Meatballs ever:⁣

• I add PROSCIUTTO and RICOTTA to the meatballs.⁣ this add so much flavor to the meat and a deep saltiness.
• The sauce is basically just crushed delicious San Marzano tomatoes with a little garlic and herbs.⁣
• The pasta is actually Bucatini (not spaghetti). Bucatini is one of the best (and easiest) ways to uplevel your spaghetti. It’s so much thicker than spaghetti and it’s hollow inside which creates another nook and cranny for sauce. (Most grocery stores carry it near the nicer pastas, just next to the boxed pastas. It’s usually only $1 more than normal spaghetti.)⁣

Are you baking this weekend? I’m actually about to do my early Saturday morning grocery run but wish I was making these amazing cream cheese cinnamon rolls instead.

The creamy frosting isn’t too sweet and melts into those cinnamon-y nooks and crannies of the soft roll! It’s heaven on a plate. Been making these for almost 15 years and they never disappoint!

Have you had scotcheroos before?? They are crispy and chewy and sweet and salty all in one. With a creamy chocolate and butterscotch topping. We die over them. I make them with almond butter because we have a peanut allergy here but they are still so dang delicious.⁣ I also make them with extra chocolate on top.
