It’s been real nice having a break from social media the past couple weeks… But there are several Fourth of July recipes I want to share with you.

First up are these browned butter Rice Krispie treats - They will not disappoint and they are the easiest thing to make!Such a crowd pleaser. Every year our neighbors get together at the end of our street for Fourth of July… Last year I packaged these up in cellophane bags for each of the kids. Perfect little patriotic snack.

The salad you need on your menu this week🍑🌿

I’ve been making this grilled peach & burrata salad for a couple years now and it’s still one of my all time favorites.

Burrata is a ball of thick fresh mozzarella with shredded fresh mozzarella and cream inside – it is soft and will slightly ooze out when you cut into it. Think of it as the creamiest mozzarella you’ve ever had.

Grilling the peaches gets them slightly soft and so so sweet – combined with the salty bacon, creamy burrata, and sweet pecans, this salad is so flavorful it’s going to become one of your new favorites.

A couple weeks ago I made a bunch of these swig copycat sugar cookies for the young women at church… They are my all-time favorite homemade sugar cookie!

I also love that you can make a bunch and freeze them and then they are super easy to transport and serve.
