🍫Want an easy Sunday treat, ready in 30 minutes?

These Fudgy One Bowl Brownies are so easy, so rich, and so chocolatey. We love to make them on Sunday.

Here’s all you’ll need:

1 cup flour
1 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, unsalted (melted)
1.5 cups white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
5 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1½ cups chocolate chips

And you bake until just barely set! This keeps them fudgy and not cakey🙌🏻

Easiest Saturday morning muffins. Blueberry, banan

Easiest Saturday morning muffins. Blueberry, banana, or apple cinnamon. 🫐🍌🍎

Turn out so fluffy every time. Topped with a delicious cinnamon crumble. Love having these on hand for the weekend.

What’s your favorite? I love the apple cinnamon but I think blueberry muffins may probably always be my favorite.🫐

Some of my tips for awesome blueberry muffins:

• Use wild blueberries. They are much smaller than normal blueberries with a lot less moisture inside. (They are easiest to find frozen – at most grocery stores). Don’t thaw before mixing in or they’ll be a blue liquid mess!
• Coat the blueberries in flour before putting into the batter. If you don’t all the blueberries can sink to the bottom.
• Use a cookie scoop / kitchen scoop to scoop the batter into the muffin tin. This will keep them all an even size and also be a lot cleaner than a normal spoon (so you don’t get a lot of drips that burn all over the pan).
• Let them cool for about 15 minutes after you bake. You’ll still be able to eat them warm, but if you eat them too hot the berries are almost too hot to taste. Let them cool up a little bit so it tastes better, and so you don’t burn yourself.
Make the crumb topping first!
• When you are done making the muffin batter bake it right away – if you let the blueberries sit in the batter too long they can turn the entire muffin blue/purple.
• Make the crumble beforehand, as soon as the blueberries are mixed into the batter, you can get them in the muffin tins, top with crumble, and bake right away

Am I going to eat them all at once? No. Am I going to gorge on cookies every time I bake? No.

Bake for your family. Eat a treat in moderation. Share the rest with friends. Your kids can see that having a sweet in moderation is fine and they don’t need to grow up with a parent who will never touch a baked good. They don’t need to fear sugar and develop a wacky relationship with food.

I love the memories we have in our kitchen. My son had to write about some of our family traditions for school and he said - “we love making good food together. And eating it!”

I was so proud.
