Wanted to sneak in one more new recipe for you before thanksgiving - the Cranberry Tart from NYT Cooking!

My one switch is to make a Biscoff cookie crust, which I think pairs so well with the creamy tart cranberry curd. I also add whipped cream on top to balance out the flavor. My family loved it.

Not only is it beautiful but insanely delicious too.

If I can convince you to make Dutch Apple pie over traditional Apple Pie this thanksgiving I’ll consider this post a success 🍎🍏

Not only is Dutch Apple Pie easier to make than traditional Apple Pie (only 1 pie crust! no lattice work!) but it has so much more flavor and texture. Buttery brown sugar and cinnamon crumble add next level flavor and texture to this pie. And it’s simple! Cut up some apples and dump the crumb coating on top.

I can’t stress enough how much you need to make this for Thanksgiving! This cranberry orange relish is just made with fresh oranges and cranberries pulsed together with apples and sugar and a couple other ingredients… No cooking required. Make it today or tomorrow and keep it in your fridge in a jar. Tastes so good when you let it rest for a couple days.

It will make your whole meal fresher.

For years I thought I didn’t like Green Bean Casserole. I’d only ever had it with canned green beans and canned cream of mushroom soup. Turns out I just hadn’t had it made right.

Chopped fresh green beans with the flavor of this homemade cream of mushroom soup is at the next level. It’s creamy and thick with the most delicious butter-y mushroom flavor.

Sharing the process of how I form my pie crust for you… I love this flaky pie crust because it uses butter and shortening. Shortening doesn’t melt as quickly as butter but butter has better flavor🧈. I found that the best crust has a combination of the two.

I’ve been making this crust for years and it is always delicious for whatever kind of pay you need.

These Creamy Mashed Potatoes with a Crispy Topping are made by:
• Simmering milk and butter with thyme and whole garlic gloves
• Pouring this milk/butter mixture over the cooked potatoes as you whip them

Here’s the process of how I make my all-time favorite Lion House Rolls - have you tried these yet?

The trick is to keep your workspace well coated in oil or butter so the dough is hydrated while you’re working with it.

If you cut them into triangles they will look more like a crescent roll. If you cut them into rectangles, they will look more like a cinnamon roll on its side. I like to cut somewhere in the middle of these 2.

I’ve been making these for over a decade and my kids declare it’s their favorite part of Thanksgiving 😅
