2lbpotatoes, quarteredrinsed and scrubbed before quartering
1tspItalian seasoning
1tspsalt
1/2tsppepper
1/2tspgarlic powder (or head of roasted garlic)
1/2cchicken broth
1/2cbutter
1/3ccream(or milk)
Instructions
Spray the inside of a 6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray.Add the potatoes, seasonings, roasted garlic, and chicken broth.Cook on low for 3 hours or on high for 1 - 1 1/2 hours.Place potatoes in a stand mixer or use a hand mixer to blend.Add the butter and cream/milk slowly, a little at a time. You may need additional cream to get the consistency of the potatoes you prefer.Add more seasonings, esp. salt to taste.Can keep warm in the slow cooker until ready to serve.
