Look – this is all you need to make this delicious Marinated Pork and Roasted Red Pepper Grilled Cheese! 5 real, fresh, simple ingredients!

You cook the pork (with no added seasonings or marinades needed) in the slow cooker all day. Then at dinner time it takes only 5 minutes to grill up the Marinated Pork and Roasted Red Pepper Grilled Cheese! SIMPLE. DELICIOUS. FAST. My family loved this Marinated Pork and Roasted Red Pepper Grilled Cheese !

Here’s how you make it:

Find Smithfield Marinated Fresh Pork at your local Walmart (flavors range from the Garlic & Cracked Black Pepper I used, to garlic, herb, and even Applewood smoked bacon). Place pork in the slow cooker with 1 c. of water. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 6-7 hours.

Once cooked, remove from slow cooker and shred pork with 2 forks. When you’re ready to make the grilled cheese sandwiches, load up some large slices of bread with pork, cheese, roasted red peppers, and green onions. Spread a little bread or oil on the bread, and sear on each side for 3-4 minutes.

Once cooked through, slice the sandwich in half and enjoy! The meat is real, all natural, and hassle free. It’s also tender, delicious, and versatile – you could easily put it on tacos, rolls, a rice bowl, or any kind of sandwich.
